Next meet 5th September : Normal rally Day ( with C and C* Testing )

Next Committee Meeting 6th October

Certificate work : Parents this needs to be addressed. Please read on.

We need to get our certificate work done...Can we please have some parent volunteers to help Lorraine run these sessions for our kids.
AGES:
To do D and D* they must be at least 7years old
C they need to be 12years old, and C* 14years old.
D and D* will be done at our Cub by Lorraine.
C and C* involves a written paper, and a practical assessment, and this year luckily it takes place at Dural.

Preparation and Testing Dates:
1) Lorraine is happy to test D and D* with kids in between phases at the Closed ODE 19th September
2) C & C* "what you need to know" session @ 6pm 27th August at our Clubhouse (RSVP to Lorraine Carter please)
3) Sunday 29th August C and C* practice - bring your horse from 10 o'clock (Mums & Dads and Alexis- if you're doing Instructors NCAS Book, Lorraine will try to get this done too)
4) C and C* testing 5th September @ DPC

*** Lorraine needs to know numbers for these sessions- there are many children who are ready to do these Certificates or are overdue!!!! Thanks,
Vivian

Hi from your horsey Club Captain,

I would like to make special reference to the dedication of the parent coordinators
who prepare the Competitions for our kids.

Britt Sedgman whose child is a Beginner, who has taken on arranging a Zone event in her first year as a Pony Club parent!
Sandra Wiggins who has taken on the ODE when not so long ago ago they were beginners themselves.
Donna Dorahy who does not even have kids at the Club but donates her time anyway!
Deb Barber who lives miles away, whose winning smile charms the Dressage judges into coming back.
Karen Wilton whose expertise ranges from Dressage to Mounted Games Team Manager.. the quiet achiever who is always there to help!
Andre our leader who even comes when the kids and Grace are overseas. Always first to arrive, and last to leave, and can stuff 3 giant horses into my float to save me 2 trips to Kurrajong!!
David whose title "Fat Controller " may remain with him if he eats all the beautiful food Joanne,Liz, Julie, and Co have organized for our Zone event!
Liz Evans for her clever promotion ideas, enthusiasm and Food  planning. Our Canteen rivals Master Chef!
Joanne McWilliams and Grace Kunz- always in the Canteen providing us and our guests with gourmet fair.
Graeme, Tom Carter, Adam and Rebecca Skopek, and Britt's mum who have been mass producing Mounted Games equipment.
Liarne and Shane Wilcox who come up on their days off to move jumps, paint and build, and sort out our gear.
Lorraine Carter whose guidance and mountain of knowledge gets us through all the events!
Regina who keeps everyone updated and organizes the paperwork.. she is Superwoman who knows where to find information on any aspect of PCA.
Trina Chaney Butt who keeps track of all the attendance and achievements.
Alexis Borg who is juggling HSC and still manages to be there to help run the Events!
(I'm sure there are some I've missed, my apologies if I have).

From Teacher to Podiatrist, Accountant to Mechanic, Retiree to Artistic Director, Landscaper to Professor, Corporate  Boss to Builder, Nurse to Psychologist - all give their  time so our  children can learn and grow

To all the parents...your enthusiasm, good humour and support make my role much easier.
THANK YOU
Our club is a great place to be!!
